TNSrecords is proud to announce we are one of seven UK labels who have teamed up to co-release PULSEBEAT, a stunning 42 minute / 17 track compilation album featuring 6 minutes or thereabouts of bands from each labels roster, inspired and compiled by Wayne Elliott (who’s internet punk radio show the comp is named after).
The compilation aims to be an updated version of the Business Unusual comp. that Cherry Red released in 1979, with one rare track and one recent release from each label. The two tracks we’ve included are from TNS old favourites Harijan and Welsh idiots Pizzatramp.
We included the Harijan track in dedication to the memory of our friend Tim Gray, who passed away on 3rd May 2018. Tim was responsible for this recording, many more TNS releases and a huge amount of important recordings throughout the whole UK music scene. Tim was one of the first people to truly get behind TNS and support our ethos and we will always remember his huge contribution to everything this label has done. It was a pleasure to work with him. Our thoughts are with all of his friends and family and his memory will live on through his immense contribution to music.
Alongside these tracks are also tracks supplied by Boss Tuneage, Brassneck, Kibou, Little Rocket, Pumpkin and Urinal Vinyl by ACCIDENTE, BUFF, THE DOMESTICS, EPIC PROBLEM, HARIJAN, HOLIDAY, MEDICTATION , MERCURY TALES, MILD SHAG, NATTERERS, NO PULSE, PISSJAR, PIZZATRAMP, ROACH SQUAD and SOCIETY’S DECLINE.
Each label has around 50 copies to sell, so these won’t hang around forever – a perfect snapshot into the current scene and a chance for you to check out what all these great labels have to offer on one slab of random mix/effect coloured vinyl!
