NEW HATE RISING can look back on 13 years of band history and four albums. Thirteen years that were shaped not only by many memories, friends and companions, but also by at least as much beer, sweat and countless “woooooos”.
“That’s a lot of band miles that we have walked this far. We felt we circled the earth three times but we are not there yet, there are many more miles to go. Let’s go to the next chapter NEW HATE RISING. ”
This chapter is called ‘Miles’, the fifth album of the Hardcore outfit from Stendal/Germany and offers a retrospective of the band’s past with all its facets, without losing sight of the future. Problems of modern society, personal defeats or the constant struggle against themselves. From rock to metal to hardcore, NEW HATE RISING remain true to their style and their versatility is reflected in each of the twelve new songs.
Guitarist Tino explains: “Through a multi-year recording process, from pre-production to the finished album, we were able to select the songs for the album that embody the entire spectrum of New Hate Rising.”
For the first time, the recording was carried out partly in-house. The album was mixed and mastered in 2019 by André Hofman (Hofmann Studios, Coburg) who has seen the band’s development through many years of cooperation.
André Hofmann: “Compared to the predecessors, the new songs are again much more rounded and organic. The proportion of Singalong has increased continuously since “Prayer To The Ashes”, whereby there are still one or two straight in your face numbers with which the boys prove that they have neither forgotten nor forgotten their original craft. ”
Singer Andi adds: “In contrast to our previous albums, our new album ‘Miles’ impresses with a higher quality sound that still sounds raw and dirty.”
As a special feature, NEW HATE RISING recorded ‘Mein Herz’, a song with German text for the first time, in which Matzo from Tausend Löwen Unter Feinden provides support on the microphone.
