ACiD DROP put on an explosive live show renowned for crowd participation and a tongue in cheek sense of humour, usually leaving everyone involved disheveled but in want of more. The rowdy Yorkshire based quartet are often compared with the up-tempo skate sounds of Epitaph and Fat Wreck Chords bands with the sing along anthems of Side One Dummy bands, drawing influence from the likes of NOFX, The Briggs, Bad Religion, Flogging molly and Gaslight Anthem with a pinch of The Slackers.

‘The End Of Days’ captures a healthy dose of their live energy and mixing it with thoughtful and inspired song writing, ACiD DROP have created a 4 3/4 inch disc of gut wrenching awesomeness waiting to explode in your ears.

New ACiD DROP Album Out Soon on TNS

We are very proud to announce that on the 8th July we will be releasing a cracking new album from ACiD DROP. I’m sure TNS regulars will already be well aware of ACiD DROP. They are already well established on the UK’s underground scene, have played numerous TNS gigs and support the scene in Leeds through Pie Race.

The album will be available for pre-order from the TNS webstore from the 24th May. Look out for exclusive deals including t-shirts and other goodies. We are sure that you can’t wait that long so we have uploaded a track off the album to download for FREE. Just head to the bandcamp page HERE to grab it.

ACiD DROP have also put together a promo video to get your juices flowing. Check it out HERE

Strummercamp Festival 2013

We are excited to announce the line up for the TNS stage at this year’s Strummercamp Festival, which will be held at Manchester Rugby Club on 24/25/26 May 2013. Unfortunately we’ve had to have a bit less involvement in this years event due to time constraints (check out more info HERE), but as always, it’s great to be part of this amazing grass roots festival.

This year we are just running a stage on Saturday, with the Sunday being taken over by the good folk at Spannered.

Our stage runs during the day on Saturday 25th May and will feature the following amazing acts:

  • Beat The Red Light
  • Sounds Of Swami
  • Revenge Of The Psychotronic Man
  • Wonk Unit
  • The Domestics
  • Tosserlad
  • The Franceens
  • Foxpunch

Strummercamp is run on a not-for-profit level and is completely staffed by volunteers. Please try to give it your support.

Tickets are available at www.strummercampfestival.co.uk

TNSrecords Fanzine Issue 14

TNSfanzine now available as eBook

We are starting to develop the fanzine so it can be read on a kindle or an iPad. Aren’t we fancy? This will make it a lot easier to keep up to date with new issues, they can be sent straight to your device, as well as hopefully making the online version easier to read.

We need to do a bit of work on the layout, as this version of the fanzine was designed for print, but you can now download both versions for free from HERE.

If you would like these sending direct to your device each issue, please email thatsnotskanking@hotmail.com (specify if you have kindle or iPad).Allowing content from this email address on your kindle account will mean you get each issue straight into your library.

You can also get an e-reader for your computer and read the ebook version rather than the pdf if this suits you.
