This is a collectively released CD/ vinyl featuring 5 tracks by each band. Both bands play dub/ska/ reggae/punk influenced sounds but are different enough to make this split work incredibly effectively. There are politically and socially informed lyrics, which is what you would expect from band members involved in projects such as Pumpkin Records, I Bike Manchester, OK Cafe and The Manchester Social Centre.

And if you want a bit of TNS trivia,Black star Dub Collective vocalistMike was also a member of the sadly missed Harijan (TNS002).
